Excellent book. Version is celebrating 20 years of Shadowrun is the best.Very complete book. Highly recommend.This supplement Shadowrun comes complete some small details that are missing in the basic book.The Work of the publisher is impeccable.

It's technomancer section is far more complete then the 5th edition version, and it's 40 page introduction to the wireless world in shadowrun is a perfect guide for non-matrix users. I recommend this book even if you've already playing 5th edition, still great, still useful.

Honestly, I do not know where to begin. This book is overly complex and hard to understand, at least at the beginning.The book takes 2070's wireless technology and incorporates real world networking exploits and hacker trick(like DDOS and bot-nets) and gives them Shadowrun rules. If you are a realist junky this book is for you; if youtreat Matrix combat like the movie Matrix, then avoid this book.The book really shines in the Technomancer section. Giving them a work up similar to Shamans, Technomancers gain somereal good Echos (their version of Metamagic) and even gain the Technomancer version of spirit guides.All in all Unwired is a clunky book, with more detail then necessary for a hacker, while buffing up Technomancers.If your game has one, or you are playing one, get this book. Otherwise, it is not necessary for you.

I love Shadowrun and bought this to help create my technomancer character. It's a gaming book, not much else to say.

This book is in the Las Vegas Sidewinders series. I would read them in order. It could be read as a standalone. The series seems to have less and less about the other older players in them as they go along. This book is about Nate. He has one of the more difficult pasts of actual players that we have seen. He has to learn how to overcome it and learn to open up. Being a rookie he gets a bit of a harder time than most. With the media and other things. He has Chelsea fall in his lap literally in the locker room. A new journalist, new to hockey. All goes well until the past comes back to haunt him.

I love the Sidewinders and Nate is a wonderful addition to the team!Nate, the new rookie on the team meets novice journalist Chelsea when she literally falls into his lap in the locker room. Sparks fly but neither of them has much experience so they don't immediately engage. When they do, we get the beginnings of a sweet romance between two wonderful characters. However, the road to love never runs smooth. Nate has a secret that gets out and journalist Chelsea is at the center of the story.I adored Nate and Chelsea and how they related to one another. It was refreshing to see a couple with not a lot of baggage in the romance department. Nate's secret was definitely not one I would have guessed and it was handled in a way that showed grace and courage under fire.It was great as always to get a peek at all my favorite Sidewinders!

Another one of Kat's books that I couldn't put down! She is a master artist when it comes to creating characters. There's a piece of me or someone I know in every character she creates, making them real and leaving you wondering about everything that's not in the book. I love entering her worlds! Nate's story will grip your heart, and his love with Chelsea will make you smile and feel young again. All the laughs,torments, and old friend that fans of the series love (Toli! Jamie! ♡♡♡) plus more pagetime with the lesser-known players (Tore, Zaan, Ian) that will have you eagerly anticipating her next books!

I find Kat's books to be thrilling and mesmerizing and I can never NOT read one without reading cover to cover immediately.I love any catch up with the team and there are good bonding moments in this one. I appreciate the care and sensitivity used for the topic because it's important to remember that bad things happen to boys and girls both. Nate's struggles show how difficult aftermath is for men, because too often society doesn't see them in the same light as a woman would be.Excellent book. Fantastic characters. Fabulous writer who is a wonderful and talented story weaver.

Loved this book and this is a great addition to the Vegas Sidewinders series. Fabulous couple you will fall in love with and root for. Touches on an important subject in sports that is often swept under the rug. Well written story that holds you captivated from first page to last.

Loved it! What a great story .... a little hockey, a bit of romance, a smidgen of mystery & intrigue and a few hot love scenes. What more could one want when everything turns out well in the end.

Got to see the other characters that started the series.A Serious matter was written about, Kat wrote about it with care! She did a wonderful job. Can't wait for the next book. Good writer!

Each author gives excellent information, with many great suggestions and resources for further study. It thoroughly examines the subject of excessive wild-harvesting to the point of endangerment of many species that were once quite common. This book gives thoughtful and interesting advice on how to be good stewards of the Earth and to help these plants prosper.

On vacation this spring we found a "Dears head Orchid". Rare! I wanted to know so much more about the tiny plant. I have several houseplants that are slippers. No greenhouse, need the best care information.Grand-mother told me that Lady slippers carpeted the forest floor when she was young. This is the first for me and couldn't believe my eyes! It doesn't grow below 5500 feet. Just the leaf lays under the snow, all winter. The proability of seeing this was once in a life time! Thank You1

This book is alright but there are so many better books on Embryology out there that I have to give low stars to this book. First of all, it does not go into good details. If you get confused or stuck on a point, there is absolutely no elaboration-- you have to go look it up on Google. If this is your first time taking Embryology, I guarantee you that you're going to get confused in just the 2nd and 3rd chapter. I prefer Human Embryology & Developmental Biology by Bruce M. Carlson because that book is quite detailed and it's written so that you understand exactly what's going on. The pictures are detailed and just enough "extra" info is provided as not to bog you down into details but still be able to understand the book if you get stuck somewhere. I, honestly, didn't even bother with this book for the class except for the clinicals in the blue boxes. Everything else, I just referred to my Human Embryo book.

I don't like the fact that all kindle books don't use page numbers. It uses location numbers. This is a text book and my professor assigns reading pages based on page number not location numbers. So I have to find someone with a hard copy to find what I am looking for. I don't recommend using kindle for text books for this exact reason.

Got it as expected, used (underlined, frayed edges, slight stains) but useable & perfectly readable.

This book was required for my undergrad embryology class. An I have to say that I really like it. The student consult online access have some audiovisuals that were really helpful. Also learning from it was facilitated by the clinically oriented approach. The only complain is that the end of chapter questions are out of chapter for some chapters in the online version of the book.

I found this book after my wife wanted a divorce and told me how she was feeling about me, the lack of trust, the lack of love she wants had for me and she wanted out. I had fallen from God and I knew right then that I needed to make it right with God and my wife. I completed the book and after three weeks I have opened my heart to God once again. I feel that I have made some major changes in my heart through God and his forgiveness. My wife has forgiven me but the healing process is still on-going and I know in time we both will heal and have a much stronger and happier marriage than we ever have had. God does like divorce and if that message is on your mind read this book, seek God direction and Words and pray pray and pray again. God will answer you, maybe not today or tomorrow, but in His time.

Not at all what I was hoping for, which was concrete ways and anecdotes for moving a troubled marriage forward. This is a lot of broad overviews of ways to take it to the cross, which is certainly step one, but then some step twos and threes would be nice.

And Other Short Stories, the same nine stories in that book also appear in this collection, along with five new Kafka adaptations by Kuper. The new ones are among the best (and longest) yet though, so still worth having for the serious Kafka and/or Kuper fan. Particularly noteworthy were the new adaptations "The Burrow" and "In the Penal Colony". If your interest is more marginal and you already own the previous collection, then you may want to pass on this one.

This graphic short stories, by Peter Kuper, ARE by turns paradoxical, macabre, comic, allegorical and indeed--Kafkaesque. Kuper is inspired by a master of woodblock prints, Lynn Ward, author of God's Man (1929) Madman's Drum (1930) and Vertigo (1937), all of which I have loved since by luck finding them in my dad's library in boyhood (though Kuper's tales, unlike Ward's, include words). Kuper also cites influence by the German expressionist artists Käthe Kollwicz, Georg Grosz and Otto Dix. However, Kuper uses scratchboard, a modern and less laborious technique than Ward's wood cutting (though seemingly equally effective). You will find particularly moving and memorable his dark tales, "Before the Law" and "In the Penal Colony."
