Wonderful book! A short history of each cemetery is given as well as pertinent facts such as many cemeteries were destroyed deliberately during WWII and records also destroyed
A very interesting book. It contains cemeteries from within the U.S. plus all over the world (organized by region). It lists a paragraph or two on each cemetery location as well as a photo. Very nice book. We are using it as a silent auction donation for the Coalition to Protect Maryland Burial Sites annual meeting.

I really enjoyed this book. I've always enjoyed visiting old cemeteries and was happy to find a book that took me to many outside my geographical location. I wish there had been more about whole cemeteries however rather than single monuments of famous persons..
If you are a cemetery buff, this book is for you. Even if you don't plan to visit them, the description and history are engaging.
