After reading "The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses," which is Paul Goble's only award winning book that I know of, we have started collecting his books. We've found that all of them have been as beautiful illustrations and wonderful stories. I love the spirituality in these stories- they all have a very moving message about Creation and respect for the animals. The stories come from mid-West Native Americans.My 6 year olds love them and I've started giving them as gifts to some of my adult friends, as well. Illustrations are beautiful.
Goble's drawings bring everything to life. He has a true feeling for our Native American heritage in this country.
